Speakeasy knew that the world of competitive ballet could be a cutthroat place, but the trailer for the coming film “Black Swan” makes it look downright terrifying. “Black Swan,” which is director Darren Aronofsky%u2019s follow-up to “The Wrestler,” stars Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis as Nina and Lily, two rivals at a ballet company led by artistic director Thomas Leroy (Vincent Cassel). The two dancers are pitted against each other after Leroy decides to replace prima ballerina Beth (Winona Ryder) in a production of “Swan Lake,” and both girls are covetous of the spot. Portman%u2019s beauty has never looked icier. Fox Searchlight will release the drama on December 1, after showing the film at both the Toronto and Venice film festivals.
