Facebook closes its Snapchat rival

According to Tech Radar, Facebook has closed Lifestage, a teen-focused app, intended to rival Snapchat. The app was designed for U.S. users under the age of 21 to share video, through an account connected to their high school or college. Michael Sayman, the coder behind the app, reportedly said that "the idea was to reimagine what Facebook would have been like if it" was created in 2016.
