Donald Trump nullifies Obama's transgender baths in Wisconsin and challenges him

The Texas government is risking losing major sporting events as it did in North Carolina, Dallas civic leaders warned yesterday as they urged Republican lawmakers to withdraw the proposal that would stipulate that transgender people use bathrooms for their sex at birth. The issue was already sparking a heated debate during the second day of the legislative session. A bestsellers writer rejected a state homage due to the initiative and a Republican lawmaker attempted to implement restrictions on the Capitol building bathrooms. Texas does not have transgender legislators, and state Rep. Matt Schaefer ended up with the idea removed. The change of rule that Schaefer tried, was an advance on the possible hard fight that will have around the regulations of the baths. The project is similar to one that North Carolina promulgated last year that had significant adverse consequences, such as companies that canceled their statewide expansion plans, the move that the National Association of University Athletics (NCAA, for its acronym in English) Made it to the other side of their games for the championship and the fact that the NBA removed Charlotte of the Game of Stars to be celebrated next month. Often Texas is chosen to host major sporting events, including the Super Bowl in February in Houston, the NCAA Women's Semifinals in Dallas in March and the NCAA Men's Semifinals scheduled for 2018 in San Antonio. Phillip Jones, president of the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau, said he did not believe that the leagues hesitate to move major sporting events elsewhere if Texas follows the example of North Carolina. 'This is not speculation. It's facts, based on what we've seen closely, "Jones said of the economic consequences. The NCAA did not immediately respond to the request filed yesterday regarding the transgender bathing bill in Texas. Its tourism partners from Austin, Fort Worth and San Antonio accompanied Jones during the presentation of the 'Texas Welcomes' campaign, and although no one from Houston attended, the tourist site of that city also gave indications of Support through a communiqué in which he stated "there is no need for such an initiative".
