Arturo "The Saddest Polar Bear on Earth" Dies At 30

A polar bear dubbed the 'saddest on Earth' has died after years trapped inside a sweltering zoo. Arturo the polar bear was forced to live in baking temperatures of 40 degrees C at Argentina's Mendoza Zoo for over 20 years. Tragic Arturo, Spanish for Arthur, is thought to have become depressed after his life-long partner Pelusa died in 2012. Since then, Arturo lived in his enclosure alone.
