Miss California Flubs #MissUSA2016 Question

Miss California has been a target of social media mockery after her bizarre answer to a question about income inequality in America at Sunday's Miss USA pageant. "When it comes to social and economic inequality, I think that the rich and the poor need to stop being so segregated. I think there is a middle class," said model Nadia Mejia when asked how she'd address the gap between rich and poor. After taking a breath, Mejia, who is the daughter of 1990s "Rico Suave" one-hit wonder Gerardo, attempted to clarify her confusing answer.
