Bill Cosby Free on $1 Million Bail

After appearing in a Philadelphia courtroom for a felony sexual assault charge, Bill Cosby has been freed on $1 million bail. The 78-year-old posted 10 percent in cash of a $1 million bond after the D.A’s office filed an aggravated indecent assault charge against the comedian from an alleged 2004 incident involving an ex Temple University employee. If found guilty on the second-degree felony, he could face up to 10 years in prison and would have to register as a sex offender. The preliminary hearing has been set for January 14th.
