Man dies after falling from a roller coaster in Spain because his safety harness failure
An Icelandic man of 18 died after being thrown from a roller coaster at a theme park in the Spanish resort of Benidorm. The Inferno rollercoaster, which means "hell" in Catalan, has been in operation since 2007. Passengers can experience 360 degree turns, and forces up to 3G speeds of 60 mph. The teenager was in the park with his parents and a friend when he climbed in attracting around 4:30 pm. Reports said the teen was thrown from moving car when his safety harness failed, falling to the ground, where he suffered serious head injuries. He died after a cardiac arrest.
