Zombies walk the streets of Santiago Chile

Metanews: 15,000 people descended on the streets of Santiago in Chile on Saturday to take part in the city's annual Zombie Walk. The walking dead gathered at a central square before setting off through the city in a variety of frightening costumes and gruesome make-up. The event's organisers said the Zombie Walk is meant to promote equality and encourage tolerance towards zombie culture. The idea of the Zombie Walk first started in Sacramento, California in 2001, and since then the event has been held in major cities like New York, Buenos Aires, Singapore and Frankfurt.
