Avatar Get 3 Sequels Starting 2016

Just yesterday we told you that James Cameron had brought on board Terminator series scribe, Josh Friedman to write the script for Avatar 2, and today we have new developments on the Avatar front that we have to fill you in on. Deadline is reporting that 20th Century Fox is not only planning the sequel, but we can already expect an Avatar part three and part four. And get this, Josh Friedman isn't the only screenwriter involved. Fox has hired three high level screenwriters and they will be working like crazy to get these scripts done so that all three movies (that's Avatar 2, 3 and 4) can be shot at the same time. These writing teams will include, of course, Terminator's Josh Friedman writing Avatar 2, Rise of the Planet of the Apes scribes Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver writing part 3, and Shane Salerno who worked with Cameron on his remake of Fantastic Voyage working on Avatar 4.
