Missile Trails Seen in Las Vegas Nevada

Folks in the Las Vegas valley caught a glimpse of a strange occurrence in the sky early Thursday. Many viewers speculated as to what it was, since the hanging object looked too thin to be a cloud. Some said it was a light not unlike an aurora borealis. Folks in the Las Vegas area woke up to an unusual object hanging in the sky on Sept. 13, 2012. It turned out to be contrails from missile testing in New Mexico. Officials at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico explained the object came from missile target test.
