Replica of RMS Titanic will Have Maiden Voyage in 2022

A functional modern-day replica of RMS Titanic, called Titanic 2, is due to set sail in 2022. The project was announced by Australian billionaire and politician Clive Palmer in 2012, and Palmer’s political party United Australia Party have released CGI footage teasing what the interiors will look like. The new cruise-liner will have a whopping 56,000 gross tonnage - 10,000 more than the original Titanic. Passengers will be able to purchase first, second or third class tickets just like in the original.
