Congressional leaders reaffirm Israel support: ‘Hamas will be washed away’

Senate and House leaders reaffirmed U.S. support of Israel at a rally at the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue in Washington, D.C. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., said that the safety of Palestinian civilians will be respected, but that “Hamas will be washed away.”
