71-Year-Old Man Survives Bear Attack

A 71-year-old jogger is lucky to be alive after a bear clawed him in the face. The incident happened on a mountain trail in Asheville, North Carolina. As Bill Palas rounded a corner, he came upon a black bear cub and immediately knew he was in big trouble. That's when he says a mama bear tried to protect the cub and ran after him. The bear then clawed Palas’ face and chest.
