A shirtless man’s proposal at an Islanders hockey game at the UBS arena in Elmont, New York, on Thursday, October 13, didn’t go as planned. Footage captured by David Marcus shows the man down on one knee, egging the cheering audience on, before the woman he’s proposing to approaches him, crouches down to speak to him, and then turns to walk away.
