In this context, the case of Daniel Barrera went viral. The young man lives on the island of Tenerife and traveled some 6,000 kilometers to meet for the first time someone very special that he had met through networks. After planning his itinerary, he first arrived in the city of Madrid. In the Spanish capital, Daniel took a flight to Miami and then another to Orlando. After landing in the U.S., everything collapsed, because that person never answered him and blocked him. Through his account, the boy himself shared a recording in which he recounted his uncomfortable situation. "I travel 6,000 kilometers to see for the first time the person I've been talking to for 3 years...I'm waiting for him. He hasn't shown up and has blocked me from everywhere," said @itsdanibarrera, whose clip surpassed 1 million views. Immediately, @itsdanibarrera's video swept the Asian platform and accumulated numerous interactions from those who expressed solidarity with the protagonist.
