North Korea describes Pompeo as "poisonous plant" of US diplomacy

North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho has described his US counterpart, Mike Pompeo, on Friday as a "poisonous plant" of US diplomacy, after the US secretary of state threatened in an interview with maintaining the severe sanctions against Pionyang if he does not commit to denuclearization.
