CCTV Video Man narrowly escapes being hit by express train in Australia

Metanews: Pedestrian narrowly escaping death after darting in front of an express train in Australia has been released by Queensland Rail. The footage shows a man waiting at a level crossing for a train to pass in one direction before pushing open a safety gate only to accidentally walk in front of another train coming from the other direction. "The message has to get out there that people are playing Russian roulette with their lives and they will lose. That is the reality," Queensland State government's Transport Minister Scott Emerson said. Emerson said the 20-year-old managed to escape with minor grazes and after appearing in court, was fined $2,200.
