#OMG: Reinaldo Fuentes Campos "El Taliban", a Venezuelan drug trafficker based in the Dominican Republic who was thrown

The man who was thrown into the sea bound hand and foot in a video that went viral on social networks was a Venezuelan national and was involved in drug trafficking, journalist Ramón Tolentino revealed on Monday. In the programme "Esto No es Radio", Tolentino said that it was Reinaldo Fuentes Campos, known as "Taliban", who was killed after a "tumbe" to the Gulf Cartel. The information indicates that the raid was carried out on a cocaine shipment that was headed for Tortola Island in the Virgin Islands archipelago. In that order, the communicator indicated that the gentleman was a link between several Caribbean islands and the Dominican Republic for drug shipments. THE MURDER OCCURRED ON 18 JULY 2023, AFTER HE WAS KIDNAPPED WHEN HE WAS INVITED TO A SUPPOSED MEETING ON DRUGS. Fuentes Campos, a native of Carúpano, a city in the state of Sucre, Venezuela, reportedly had several identities and entered the country under the name Miguel Fulcar. Reinaldo was launched from a dinghy with a Suzuki 175 engine, model DF175, with a fuel system and 175 hp engine, to navigate in deep water. The possible location where the man was launched is near the island of Martinique. Link to the DR Ramón Tolentino adds that Reinaldo had a romantic relationship with a famous lawyer in Maimón, Monseñor Nouel province, with whom he had no children, but has a stepdaughter. Here in the Dominican Republic he was known as "Taliban" because of his alleged links to the Middle East. "THIS MAN HAD A RELATIONSHIP IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, TRAVELLING BETWEEN MARTINIQUE AND VENEZUELA... HE WAS A BOSS OF BOSSES... HE CONTROLLED THE BUENOS AIRES NEIGHBOURHOOD OF MAIMON, BONAO," TOLENTINO SAID. So far, the authorities have not offered details of the incident which has caused consternation on the internet.
