The head of the General Strategic Security Coordination of Jalisco, Ricardo Sánchez Beruben, requested that the Attorney General's Office (FGR) take over the case of the five young people who disappeared in Lagos de Moreno, due to the alleged involvement of organized crime. According to the authorities' report, the youths were allegedly kidnapped by alleged members of the 'MZ', an operative belonging to Ismael 'El Mayo' Zambada.
