Man savagely beats his wife

Man savagely beats his wife, leaving her bloodied. In the presence of his two minor children, Aldo José Toruño, 34 years old, brutally beat his spouse Meybell Yuritza Vindell, 29 years old. The savage aggression occurred in the morning hours of this Tuesday, August 1st in the El Calvario neighborhood of Esteli. The neighbors of this sector are dismayed and outraged by the brutal aggression that Meybell suffered at the hands of her partner. According to witnesses, the aggression began inside the house where the couple lives with their two small children. One of the neighbors said that she heard the couple arguing loudly, but then there was a few seconds of silence. After that pause they again heard the woman calling for help. When the neighbors came out onto the street they observed a man hitting the woman who was carrying a seven-month-old child in her arms. They all came to the aid of the woman whose face was bloodied because the man had wounded her head. After the assault Aldo José Toruño got into a pick-up truck and fled the scene. The police went to the neighborhood to transfer the victim to the San Juan de Dios hospital in Esteli and they are also trying to capture the alleged aggressor.
