Hong Kong national security law: HK$1 million bounties for arrests of political fugitives overseas

Hong Kong police are offering HK$1 million (US$127,600) rewards for information leading to the arrests of each of eight wanted opposition figures overseas, including three former lawmakers, accused of violating the city’s national security law. The announcement marks the first time such bounties have been offered since the enactment of the legislation banning acts of secession, subversion, terrorism and collusion with foreign forces.
