Thief Uses Sleight of Hand to Steal From Jewelry Store: Cops

Authorities say a customer in a jewelry store only paid $1,000 for a $2,900 necklace, but he’s not a master negotiator. Cops say he’s a clever thief using sleight of hand. Surveillance video from Kay Jewelers in Irvine, California, shows the man count out money in front of the cashier and leave it on the counter. When the employee looks away, cops say his hand pulls a few bills off the top of the pile and puts them in his pocket. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
