Rats Wearing Halloween Costumes Shoot Some Spooky Hoops A pair of clever rats enjoyed a Halloween-themed game of basketball at their home in Virginia, wearing tiny costumes made for them by their owner as they shot some hoops. Footage filmed by Esther Minic-Rosenthal shows two of her pet rats, Donut and Olive, expertly landing baskets in the miniature nets set up for them on the floor of their Blacksburg home. Minic-Rosenthal told Storyful that the pair, who are 22-month-old sisters, have both been training with her since they were six weeks old and “adore agility and basketball”. Olive can be seen dressed up as a pumpkin, while Donut is wearing a tiny ghost costume – both custom-made for them by Minic-Rosenthal. “I handmade their costumes myself and sized them to fit each rat, and both girls have learned how to help me put on their costumes to ensure its a stress-free process,” she said.
