#2021: Scientists report the presence of a new type of mosquito

The scientific community has been on alert since the presence of Aedes vittatus, a more contagious and lethal mosquito, was discovered in the Dominican Republic. This species is abundant in Asia and Africa, but until now it had not been reported in our continent.
