#OMG: Time-lapse images capture the Earth's rotation across the night sky

Bartosz Wojczynski is the author of these images taken in Windhoek, Namibia, with a camera mounted on a special astrophotography mount that counteracts the rotation of the Earth by slowly rotating in the opposite direction. The result is an impressive and dizzying time-lapse video that shows the sky rotating and changing color as it goes from day to night and back to daylight. Bartosz said, "The device I used is normally used for long exposure photography of the night sky.
