Soccer fans watch a game through the window of a bar

As part of new regulations for the coronavirus pandemic, pubs, bars, and restaurants in Scotland must close at 10 p.m. This new law caused many Scots across the country to be left out in the cold during the final of a Eurocup qualifying soccer match between Scotland and Israel. The images recorded on October 8 by the manager of Nico's Cafe Bar in Glasgow, show a group of customers who had been evicted from the premises at 10 pm, in compliance with the regulations. Instead of going home, people stayed outside the bar watching the game through the windows, taking advantage of the fact that the game was still being broadcast on the establishment's television. The moment of the recording was the exact moment when Scotland beat Israel 5-3 on penalties and the crowd began to celebrate their nation's victory.
