One million people receive evacuation orders off the coast of Louisiana and Texas due to Hurricane Laura

"We are asking you to evacuate immediately. Don't wait for the forecast to improve," said Lina Hidalgo, a judge in Harris County, Texas. Experts say Laura could come in as a Category 3 hurricane with winds of more than 110 miles per hour (mph). In addition, the tide is feared to cause flooding of up to 10 feet in some areas.
