A mother and child die trapped in rubble from the scourge of the storm #Laura

The woman and her 8-year-old son were unable to escape a landslide caused by the rains early Sunday morning in a neighborhood in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Rescue workers are working in the area because the land continues to give way to water and could cause more damage. Now the storm will pass through all of Cuba and then head to the United States, where it will arrive as a hurricane.
