S. Korea honors sailors dead in warship sink

South Korea has honored 46 of its sailors with a military funeral after their warship sank near waters disputed with the DPRK. Mourners, including President Lee Myung-bak, packed a navy base south of Seoul for Thursday's ceremony, which opened with South Korea's national anthem. Sirens sounded across the country. The 46 sailors went down with their ship near the tense western sea border about a month ago. Investigators believe an "underwater blast outside the ship" caused it to sink. The government is continuing its investigation amid speculation the DPRK was involved. Pyongyang has denied any involvement.
