Timelapse video captures powerful supercell thunderstorm in Wyoming

Daring photographers shot a stunning time-lapse video of a supercell thunderstorm in Wyoming on Sunday. According to the National Weather Service, supercell thunderstorms "are responsible for nearly all of the significant tornadoes produced in the U.S. and for most of the hailstones larger than golf ball size. Supercells are also known to produce extreme winds and flash flooding." The eye-popping video was shot by Base Hunters, a storm-chasing team originally based in Oklahoma, according to the group's Facebook page.
