Baby elephant rescued from well in India

Metanews: A baby elephant calf has been rescued from a well in Kerala, India after it fell in while trying to search for food. Local people in Kothamangalam town, southern Kerala, heard the animal's cries and alerted forest rangers. Initial attempts to try and get the calf out failed so a crane was brought in to break the wall of the well and drag it back onto dry land.
