Walt Disney purchase LucasFilm and announces new film for 2015

Walt Disney Company has announced the purchase of 3,124 million euros of Lucasfilm company founded by filmmaker George Lucas and behind franchises like 'Star Wars' and 'Indiana Jones', as reported in a statement. Disney also unveiled its plans for a new installment in the famous galactic saga, Star Wars: Episode 7 ', to premiere in 2015. The Mickey Mouse House agreed with Lucas, owner of 100 percent of Lucasfilm, the acquisition of the company in a transaction in which paid half in cash and the rest with about 40 million shares of Disney, a figure drawn from their Quote of October 26. "It is now time for me to pass 'Star Wars' to a new generation of filmmakers. Always been my belief that 'Star Wars' could outlive me and thought it was important to make the transition in my life", said George Lucas, 68 and who in June and Kathleen Kennedy gave in to the weight of managing your business.
