During his speech at the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos, U.S. President Donald Trump poked fun at French President Emmanuel Macron for wearing blue aviator sunglasses indoors. Trump commented on Macron’s “beautiful sunglasses” before joking, “what the hell happened?” Macron’s unusual eyewear was reportedly due to a burst blood vessel in his eye, which he had experienced earlier in Paris.
