This is how Sinaloa dawned after the capture of Ovidio Guzmán

Normality is trying to make its way this Friday in Culiacán, a city frozen and terrorized by the violence deployed by criminal groups after the arrest of Ovidio Guzmán, son of El Chapo and one of the leaders of the Sinaloa cartel. Thursday's situation was reminiscent of what happened in 2019 when the National Guard arrested Ovidio and pressure from drug traffickers forced the government to release him to avoid attacks on the civilian population, in a black day that became known as the Culiacanazo. This Friday, the airport of the capital of Sinaloa is still closed, but the State Government has announced to its public workers that they can now return to their jobs. President Andrés Manuel López Obrador affirmed in his morning conference that "everything is being done" to bring the city back to normal. He also defended the performance of the security forces yesterday: "They acted responsibly to take care of the population".
