Biden falls asleep during Obama's budget speech

http://www.nma.tv/ ABC News aired footage today that seemed to show Vice-President Joe Biden asleep during President Obama's budget speech. Why was Biden so tired? Maybe the VP had been up late the night before conducting some beltway business. Others have blamed it on the heat in the press room. Obama apparently has the White House heating turned up so far that advisor David Axelrod once quipped "You could grow orchids in there." Teachers have a way for dealing with sleeping pupils. Perhaps Obama should've dealt with Biden in a similar manner. Biden was lucky. With the speech taking place at 1:30PM, the only people who saw it were the elderly and children. Even if Obama could draw a crowd, they'd likely be distracted by the day's other big story: Kobe Bryant's gay slur controversy.
