Nestlé launches first vegan alternative to foie gras in supermarkets

Consumers can enjoy the taste, texture and aroma of foie gras without having to consume the animal product. Nestlé has just launched in Spain the first 100% vegetable alternative to foie gras to be sold in supermarkets. It is Garden Gourmet's Voie Gras, a proposal with vegan certification, which the company presented today. The new vegan foie gras is made with vegetable fats, soy protein and a combination of ingredients such as miso, yeast, toasted sesame and mushroom powder, as well as olive oil with white truffle aroma.
