The Avengers Official Trailer Fingerprint 2012 HD Visual Analytics

The goal of this experiment is to create a visualization of color and shape that is unique to each trailer. From this visualization, insight into the editing style, the color correct, and the audio mix for that unique trailer. By comparing trailers in this way we can understand the visual structure of the work. The upper left is a frame by frame color palate. Trailer Fingerprint visualizes your favorite trailers in a new analytical way. The middle is a waveform of the frequencies that exist in the sound of the trailer. The background represents the average color of each frame. The bottom bar represents the average color from each frame with an audio volume overlay.
