Metanews: Curiosity landed on Mars today, after a journey of 567 million kilometers and at the beginning of a two-year mission for evidence of life on Mars.
The U.S. space agency NASA confirmed that the artifact, a ton, landed in the crater Gale after a complex maneuver during what has been called "seven minutes of terror" since entry into the Martian atmosphere.
