Ninja Breaks Into Cars - News Story - WPXI Pittsburgh

UNIONTOWN, Pa. -- Police in South Union Township said a man dressed as a ninja broke into nearly a dozen cars before trying to stab a man who confronted him. Uniontown police said the black-clad figure broke into vehicles early Sunday. Residents called police, and one neighbor who went to investigate spotted the man hiding in a yard. Santino Guzzo said the man then drew a sword and tried to stab him before breaking one of his car windows and fleeing on foot. "He ran around the back of my car and shattered the back window of my vehicle with his sword," said Guzzo. "That's when I jumped out of the vehicle and chased him." A total of 12 cars were damaged in the area of Braddock Avenue and Elm Street. When police arrived at the scene, they found shattered glass, blood and fingerprints. A neighbor captured the man on surveillance video. Jennifer Barry said she hopes the video and the publicity of the case will help police make an arrest. State police said they have received numerous tips but so far, have made no arrests. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact police
