Call of Duty Black Ops will feature new equipment such as a scoped crossbow with different kinds of ammunition and players might pilot an SR-71 Blackbird.

There is also talk of it featuring a zombie mode, in which players are confronted with waves of zombies. This was a feature of Call of Duty World at War so shouldn't come as too much of a surprise if you are familiar with the Call of Duty game series.

Call of Duty Black Ops is expected to feature dedicated servers. This is a welcome development by Activision to help avoid problems with latency usually associated with multiplayer games.
