Chinese scientists create horrible muscular dogs
A group of Chinese scientists say they are the first researchers to have used genetic technology to successfully duplicate the muscle of dogs. For this new research, the scientists used 65 embryos beagle, focusing on the genes of myostatin, a protein that inhibits muscle growth. By injecting an enzyme in the embryo, the natural barrier is removed in muscle growth, which can grow new extremes. Scientists say that the purpose of these dogs is to be used for police and military. This is not the first time that Chinese researchers have applied science to genetically modify animals; as they have done with goats, rabbits, rats, monkeys ... and human embryos. While scientists say that this particular study is to learn more about the genetic modification for human medicine ... we can not imagine what they do in their laboratory.
