Wildfires encircle Los Angeles

Thousands are fleeing a series of wind-whipped wildfires in southern California. California's governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has declared states of emergency in three of the worst affected counties, including celebrity-studded Santa Barbara, where many Hollywood stars have homes.
