Students react to candidate debate
College students gather at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles to watch the first presidential debate. More than one-hundred college students packed a small auditorium on the campus of the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles on Friday night (September 26) to watch the first U.S. presidential debate between Senators John McCain and Barack Obama. The presidential candidates will meet two more times before election day. Debates are set for October 7, 2008 in a town hall format at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee and October 15, 2008, when McCain and Obama will focus on domestic policy at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.
