Sofia Vergara again without Emmy Award

The series "Homeland" and "Modern Family" won the top awards of the 64th edition of the Emmy Awards, by winning trophies in the categories of Best Drama Series and Best Comedy Series, respectively. The largest series of Emmy were awarded "Game of Thrones" with six statuettes, all technical in nature, and "Homeland", with the same number. "Homeland" was the surprise by beating rivals like "Breaking Bad" or "Mad Men," which until tonight had four consecutive Emmys. A win for "Mad Men" would have meant breaking all the records in the field of Best Drama. For now, he continues to share the mark with historical series as "Hill Street Blues," "LA Law" and "The West Wing". With a fifth win, "Mad Men" had matched the figure of "Frasier", which in 1998 had five-time record-trophies for Best Comedy Series.
