The Hobbit follows the journey of the main character Bilbo Baggins, who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost kingdom of the dwarves of Erebor, which was conquered long ago by the dragon Smaug. Approached by surprise by the wizard Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo joins a company of thirteen dwarves led by the legendary warrior, Thorin Oakensheild. Their journey will take them through quicksand Goblins and Orcs overflowing, Wargs and giant spiders, creatures and sorcerers.
