A time-lapse of aurora in the early evening hours over Abisko, Sweden. Made from stills captured by their Aurora Sky Station. The aurora is a result of a M8.7-class solar flare sending a cloud of charged solar particles Earthward, which interacted with our magnetosphere on Jan. 24.
